Mark Flanagan's new CD with his new band the Fields was recorded and mixed at Gemini Studios, Ipswich and Shotgun Shacks Studios, Allihies, Country Cork between August 04 and July 05. The CD was engineered by Pat Grueber and Chris Muijzert, mastered by John Astley and produced by Mark Flanagan and Jimmy Bergin. The Fields are: Mark Flanagan (Guitars, Vocals, Waterphone, Meletron, Steel Drums), Jimmy Bergin (Guitar, Vocals, Bass, Bouzouki, Mandola) and Barnes Goulding (Drums, Mandola, Vocals). The copyright

Mark has completed the promotional tour for "The Chosen Few" but will be gigging again in the near future and we'll be announcing the dates on this site as soon as they're confirmed. The gigs will be
an eclectic mix of acoustic country blues with influences ranging
from New Orleans to Senegal. Look out for articles on this album in Mojo,
Q, Uncut, Times, Independent, Guardian, Observer, Telegraph, Classic Rock, Get
Rhythm, Traditional Music Maker, Record Collector & Record Mart, Making
Music, plus various on line reviews. In addition various Irish,
Scottish, Welsh & other local press will be reviewing this album. Interviews
are currently being done for features in Blueprint
